Do I need a license key to use the packages?

No. Without a key everything runs on the free tier: the hosted Services are rate-limited to 5 requests per 60 seconds and Entities to 5 simple + 2 complex entity types. A license key removes those limits — nothing else changes.

How does the 30-day trial work?

Pick the Trial tier, enter an email address, and the key is emailed to you immediately — no payment details. A trial key unlocks all features; it simply expires after 30 days.

What does a commercial license cost?

€99 per developer per year for Regira Entities and €49 per developer per year for Regira Services. The MCP server is currently included with every license at no extra charge. That's the whole price list.

How are license keys validated?

Offline, against an RSA signature baked into the packages. Your application never phones home to check a license — validation works without a network connection, in CI and in air-gapped environments.

Which packages are free?

Most of the packages — utilities, IO/storage, Office document interfaces — are Apache-2.0 and free to use without any key. Commercial licensing applies to Regira Entities and the hosted Services; the packages page marks which is which.
